The more than 31 000 spectators at Loftus Versfeld will certainly remember his memorable try for as long as Dean Greyling will and will continue to talk about it for years to come.
As will Greyling, according to Vodacom Bulls captain, Pierre Spies.
“I am sure Dean will remind us of that try at every possible occasion next week,” Spies joked after his teammate’s effort which saw him run 35 metres, selling a beautiful dummy to Crusaders fullback Israel Dagg and finishing off his run with a swallow dive over the line.
“He will certainly talk about that try for a long time, but why not. It certainly was a brilliant effort and it proved to be a turning point in the match. Individual moments of brilliance often changes matches and his did lift the team and put us on track to victory,” Spies said.
