There were no record breaking feats this year, but Vodacom Blue Bulls winger Bjorn Basson finished off his first Currie Cup season with his new team by scoring a hat-trick of tries against the Leopards on Friday night.
Those tries also took him to the top of the try scorers in Absa Currie Cup, with 10 tries to his tally.
Last season Basson scored a record-breaking 21 tries in the competition and with the 10 now added, will be looking for his 50th try next season.
Basson again showed he is such a lethal finisher, using great pace and anticipation, good support play and a willingness to go for the line as the Blue Bulls ran rampant.
