The performance of Vodacom Blue Bulls flanker Jacques Potgieter against Griquas in Kimberley justified the decision of the Loftus brains trust to sign him from the EP Kings earlier in the season.
Potgieter showed great commitment in taking up the ball, each time getting across the advantage line and never stopped trying on attack, setting up front foot ball time and time again.
On defence he also played very well and made numerous bone crushing tackles to rattle the opponents.
It was certainly not due to his lack of effort that the Vodacom Blue Bulls failed to beat Griquas.
