Much can be said or written about the brave performance by the Vodacom Blue Bulls in their win over the Lions, especially on defence. Little chance than any of those conversations or articles will not mention Vodacom Blue Bulls lock, Juandré Kruger.
The stalwart was brilliant; there is no other way to put it. He played his heart out for 80 minutes and did everything that was expected of him and more. His defence was outstanding, especially in the tight exchanges. His line-out play was inspiring. His fearless ball carrying was something to behold. In short, Kruger has set a standard of loc play that can only stand the Bulls in good stead for the remainder of the season.
