Meiring to fly flag for Blue Bulls women at World Cup

School teacher Yolanda Meiring will be the only player from the Blue Bulls to represent the South African Women’s team at the IRB Women’s Rugby World to be held from August 20th – September 5th in Surrey, England.
Meiring is one of nine players who will play in their second tournament, surviving from the 2006 tournament in Canada, where the team finished in eighth place.
Mandisa Williams of Eastern Province will lead the South African women to the United Kingdom.

?Four players from the Blue Bulls u/16 girls team also made the cut in a squad of 35 girls who will attend a High Performance camp in Port Elizabeth. The players will participate in various technical and generic programs to educate them about the rugby techniques, conditioning, mental preparation and life skills required at the top end of the sport.
The players are Thembi Masombuka, Ntsako Tshauke, Nadia Kastoor and Lindiwe Mgwevu.
