Vodacom Bulls crush Lions
30 January 2010 (21:32)
 The Vodacom Bulls crushed the Lions in both their pre-season matches that were played in Polokwane on Saturday night.
The Blue team (the A team) whipped the Lions 42-12 in the match that started at 18:30, whilst the White team (the B team) thrashed their counterparts 25-3 in the first match.
More info will follow...at this stage we can confirm that none of the Bulls picked up a serious injury.
Vodacom Bulls point scorers:
Blue team: Tries: Gerhard van den Heever (2), Werner Kruger, Dries van Schalkwyk, John Mametsa. Conversions: Morne Steyn (4). Penalties: Steyn (3).
White team: Tries: Devin Oosthuizen (2), Wynand Willis. Conversions: Francois Brummer (1) and Marnitz Boshoff (1). Penalties: Brummer (2).

47. Ek kyk die naweek na 'n heruitsending van die game Munster en Northamton,
Joandre Kruger wat 2 jaar terug vir die bulle gespeel het, het 'n storming game gehad. Ons moet die man terug kry in ons kraal. Wat 'n slot, Victor gaan nog net 2 jaar speel en miskien Bakkies ook. Met die man saam met Flip sal ons weer 'n uitstekende slot paar op die veld sit. So ek hoop Frans en Heyneke begin om die man terug te kry.
