2013 promises to be the most exciting and memorable year yet for the Bulls’ faithful who will be treated to a host of events and activities in celebration of the Blue Bulls Rugby Union’s 75 year history. Fans will also have plenty to look forward to on the field of play when Frans Ludeke and his new-look management team go all guns blazing to secure Vodacom Super Rugby glory. These were just some of the topics discussed during the Sponsors’ Forum hosted at the Loftus Versfeld Auditorium attended by Blue Bulls Company (BBC) management, team personnel and sponsors including Vodacom, Puma, Avis, Proline Computers and Oasis.
Sponsors also had the opporutunity to interact with Vodacom Bulls head coach Frans Ludeke, captain Pierre Spies and team manager Wynie Strydom in a Q&A session that tackled various aspects of the game including memorable moments, changing momentum, tactics and mindset for the different formats of the game from international tests to Vodacom Super Rugby and the Absa Currie Cup competition. Sponsors also gained insight into the pressures and expectation associated with individual endorsements.
Barend van Graan, Blue Bulls Company CEO, said it was a successful and enlightening Sponsors’ Forum.
“The Sponsors’ Forum forms a crucial part of our business model, to engage with our stakeholders, inform them of our plans and activities for the year ahead while also ascertaining how they can further contribute with regard to specific events. This year is a special one for the Blue Bulls Rugby Union because we will be celebrating our 75th anniversary and our team has been working tirelessly to roll out a host of activities to honour our legends and members of the past, while also paying special tribute to our current players, staff and fans.”
